Errors in 9D

Yesterday zibola encountered a problem that Characters stuck at a location. To solve this problem,

- Characters stuck at a location/Unable to Move
• To use the escape function you must put in peace mode
Then, in general chat (white letters), type semicolon then escape >>>;escape

Some other errors and solutions are here

- Cannot create a character
• Be sure you have typed a name, assign the chi points and select a starting area

• Change the name until you can create the character (It’s possible you need change more than 1 time until get a free name)


- Character missed
• Be sure you have selected the Server where you had created it.


- Dancing trees, Character Selection Screen and video lag issues
• If you are using AMD X2 Family CPU, close the game download and install AMD Dual-Core Optimizer from here
And run the game.


- Game Freeze or crash while using Lightfoot
• Delete the files into the ADCACHE folder
By default, the way to find it is: My PC >> C: >> programs Files >> 9Dragons >> ADCACHE


- Characters stuck at a location/Unable to Move
• To use the escape function you must put in peace mode
Then, in general chat (white letters), type ;escape


- Missing Mastery points (after reassigns the Chi points)
• Quit the game (do not go to Title Screen) and restart 9Dragons again

• Contact with any VGM in game to solve it


- I can not delete a person From the Black List
• You must delete a file with your account name which is into the Script folder
By default, the way to find it is: My PC >> C: >> programs Files >> 9Dragons >> Date >> Script


- XKernel errors
• Check the Requirements to play 9D

• Update the DirectX and the driver of your graphic card, but be sure to select the correct one

And remember that you need uninstall the old driver before install the new one

• Send an e-mail to 9dsupport@acclaim.com with your dxdiag.txt file as well as your EOD log.
..........The EOD file can be found in the 9Dragons folder from the following path: C\Program Files\9Dragons
..........To get the DXDIAG File:
....................1) Go to the Start menu.
....................2) Click on ‘Run’.
....................3) Type ‘DxDiag’ without quotes and click on OK.
....................4) A new window will open. This is your DirectX Diagnostic Tool
....................5) Now click on ‘Save All Information...’ tab.
....................6) Save your file to the system. This will be your DxDiag.txt file

Error Codes

- Error code -1 (Cannot connect to authentication server)
• Check your connection and try to re-log in game

• Visit the forum to check if there is any maintenance or servers are down by any reason


- Error code 0 (Disconnected from the game server)
• Check your connection and try to re-log in game


- Error Code 183 (Cannot create a file when that file already exists)
• Quit the game and restart it again

• Check your internet connection and be sure you are connected


- Error Code 10013 (Failed to socket initialize)
• Check your Firewall/Antivirus settings in order to allow the 9Dagons net traffic your firewall/antivirus must allow these programs:
..........NDLauncher.exe
..........NDLauncher2.exe
..........NineDragons.exe
..........GameGuard.des
..........GameMon.des
Make sure that the ports 8220 and 8221 are unblocked on your firewall.
And remember that each new patch you need to allow the modified game


- Error Code 10054/10060 (Connection reset by peer. The connection was forcibly closed by the remote host)
• Check your connection and try to re-log in game
